RMR Aerospace Ed Officer School

Aerospace Education Officer School

The URMR AEO School is designed to help CAP Senior and Master-level AEOs bring their planning and teaching skills to the next level. During this week of field trips, interactive classes, and hands-on labs, URMR AEO School participants will explore CAP's three AE mission areas (aviation, cyber, and space). Participants will then be given the resources needed to create and plan AE activities that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of their squadron, group, or wing and execute events seamlessly.

The learning environment of AEOs with varied backgrounds and experience lends itself to a sharing of ideas, collaboration and camaraderie. Held at the United States Air Force Academy, itself a leader in Aerospace and Engineering research, senior members will have opportunity to see aerospace and military history, learn more about all AE mission areas and create organizational plans to meet AE objectives for their organization.

The student cost includes room and board (meals, towels, etc.) at the Air Force Academy Prep School, meeting room set-up, dining facilities, use of the Falcon Club, and additional formal meeting places to host speakers.  While the fee does not include travel costs, CAP transport will be provided from the Colorado Springs Airport(COS) to USAFA.

Student cost: $350
Staff cost:       $200
