Mountain Flying Training

Mountain Flying Training is required in RMR for an initial CAPF 70-5 Mountain Flight Endorsement and for recurring training for the annual CAPF 70-5.

To complete initial Mountain Flying Training, watch all videos then take the exam. Present the exam to a CAP Instructor Pilot or Check Pilot for grading. After the exam is graded, post the last page of the exam to Ops Quals prior to your CAPF 70-5. The exam is open book, so you may use all reference materials. 

For annual Mountain Flying Training, take the exam. Present the exam to a CAP Instructor Pilot or Check Pilot for grading. After the exam is graded, post the last page of the exam to Ops Quals prior to your CAPF 70-5.
